Is justified the topicality of the use of playful character texts in the process of learning a foreign language for students mastering a detailed linguistic and specific cultural norms of the language; the competencies needed to provide adequate information to decode are pointed out.
The article presents the analysis of the scientific literature on the research problem of emotional competence in normal and disturbed speech development, the structure and content of the methodology of the experiment, allowing to reveal features of this process in younger schoolchildren with General speech underdevelopment.

the problem of emotional self-control is one of the major psychology and pedagogical problems relevant for personal and professional development of the modern teacher. Considerable psychological loadings in process of pedagogical activity are the factors contributing to the development of a professional stress. The relevance of a problem of studying of emotional regulation of the teacher is caused by those objective factors which arise not only in connection with certain specifics of pedagogical activity, but also were created in our public and cultural space for the last decades.

The article deals with the concept of emotional competence applied to the modern teacher of higher school. It is revealed that the structure of emotional competence includes two major spheres – internal (regulation of personal emotions, their control) and external (understanding of others’ emotions and influencing them). Both these spheres are significant for the teacher of the higher school and his productive professional work.
