The relevance of the work lies in the analysis and practical application of gamification techniques for the development of foreign language dialogical speech skills of 1st year students - Linguistics majors. The aim of the study is to determine the effectiveness degree of using gamification techniques in teaching and developing students’ foreign language dialogic speech skills. To achieve this goal, the tasks were defined as following: analyze the literature on the research topic, develop training sessions that include elements of gamification, evaluate the effectiveness of gamification techniques in a practical experiment, compare the results of the experimental group using gamification for education and the control group using traditional learning methods. The research consists of the experiment with the participation of 1st year students - Linguistics majors. The authors highlight the main characteristics of foreign language dialogic speech that influence the development of speaking skills in the article. Particular attention is paid to linguistic aspects and the use of gamification techniques and traditional teaching methods. Based on the results of the analysis, the following conclusions can be drawn: the introduction of gamification elements into the educational process demonstrates the positive dynamics of the development of foreign language dialogic speech skills among higher school students; through the use of gamification techniques during training sessions, a comfortable atmosphere for interaction was created, which also has a positive effect on educational outcomes. The theoretical significance of this work lies in important contribution to the study of the use of gamification techniques in foreign language teaching. The practical significance lies in the potential use of the materials of this study by teachers as a support for increasing the efficiency of foreign language teaching methods used in conducting classes. The introduction of gamification elements into the educational process can contribute to greater student interest, which leads to positive dynamics in the educational outcomes.
The article discusses various techniques and methods of teaching a foreign language, the use of modern pedagogical technologies to increase cognitive interest and positive motivation for learning the subject. In this regard, the increasing role of didactic and technological methods and techniques that are used for a specific purpose and are accompanied by clearly formulated and understandable tasks. The relevance of the topic under discussion is to examine the theory and practice of grammar learning optimization, which is essential for mastering spoken English. The purpose of this article is to analyze the essence of integrating the use of communicative-cognitive and gamified approaches for the effective learning of grammar in conversational practice (based on the English language). The article examines in detail the role of grammar in learning spoken English and various theoretical approaches to teaching grammar, such as communicative-cognitive and gamified approaches. The study revealed a number of effective methodological techniques for teaching grammar in conversational practice. These include: interactive exercises; role-playing games, simulations and group discussions that allow participants to apply grammatical structures in their own communicative settings; authentic materials; the use of texts, audio and video recordings of real speech, which demonstrate grammar patterns in context; reflective practice, which involves engaging students in analyzing their natural speech errors and encouraging them to use grammatical structures in a way that is most natural to them; technological tools, that is, the use of interactive applications, speech training software and online platforms that provide an engaging and personalized learning environment. This article makes an additional contribution to the theoretical understanding of grammar teaching in conversational practice. It provides language teachers with practical methods that can enhance grammar teaching and ensure student language acquisition. The study highlights the importance of combining different teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students and create a supportive and motivating learning environment. The results of the study can be used by English teachers, methodologists and curriculum developers to create effective language courses focused on communicative goals.
The article highlights the consideration of the psychophysiological characteristics of modern teenagers, the importance of changing the activities of students during the lesson and the role of gaming technologies in the educational process. Methods of using gamification in Russian language lessons will also be demonstrated.
