In the age of multi-cultural dialogue especially important is the development of multilingual and multicultural linguistic identity. It is the bearer of linguistic and intercultural competences who is able to participate fully in intercultural communication, to realize itself in the dialogue of cultures. The successful formation of the lan-guage and multicultural personality is directly related to the ability to manage their learning activities. There-fore, the basic principles underlying the innovative methods of teaching foreign languages should be: indi-viduality, independence and continuity of learning levels
The article deals with the actual problem of learning foreign languages in the era of digitalization. Innovative ways in the educational environment are good not only during distance learning, but also for independent studies of people of all ages at any time convenient for them. The authors consider the numerous opportunities that have recently appeared for innovative learning of a foreign language, in particular German, with the help of authentic radio channels, music programs, specialized educational Internet resources.
The article considers one of the innovative approaches to learning foreign languages – the multifunctional Internet-application named Quizlet. This app is an effective tool for the mastering of the structure of any language, particularly German. It’s adapted to any modern gadget and can be considered both as an additional tool for learning any language, and as the main one in case of distance education. The special attention is paid to revealing of the features of the app, its structure and practical application.
The article examined the actual for the present time problem of non-standard approach to the use of academic text on the specialty in the classes of Russian language as a non-native at university. This approach requires the choice of new methods of working with an academic text. As a model of teaching it is proposed to include linguodidactics component in a system of students’ teaching of university, the application of block lessons, block diagrams, algorithms, tables and “Subject Portfolies” based on the method of “cross-reaction” and “brainstorming”.
