The article focuses on the problem of teaching students whose native language is Japanese Russian pronunciation and intonation. The authors analyze the main challenges that teachers are to keep in mind when developing lesson plans and designing tasks aimed at phonetic skills formation. Some recommendations concerning the ways of meeting the challenges are provided.
In this article comparative characteristics of Russian and English intonation patterns are represented to simplify the acquisition of intonation by foreign (Turkmen) students. The authors also consider features of Turkmen intonation patterns. Concious studying of English and Russian intonation patterns and imitation are thought to serve for reducing or overcoming interference.
The article deals with the peculiarities of national cultural and linguistic differences of Spanish-speaking students who study at the initial stage of learning RFL. The most significant errors related to the lexical and grammatical system of the Russian language are highlighted, and the characteristic national and cultural features of Spanish-speaking students are considered. Accordingly, some recommendations were put forward for the development of effective lexical and grammatical material, which should contain interactive and authentic materials in addition to illustrated content and standard exercises that are easily accessible to students.
The article discusses developed programs and created video recordings to ensure work on the correction of oral speech for schoolchildren undergoing long-term treatment in hospitals and to improve the speech technique of teachers working in hospital schools of the «UchimZnaem» project.
