The article highlights the problem of stimulating the interest of 6th grade pupils to the topic "Verb" through the use of historical references concerning the nature of the infinitive, the dynamics of the reflexive verb. A number of tasks are proposed, designed to enrich the knowledge of students about the meaning and forms of the verb, to explain the appearance of grammatical homonymy of the name and infinitive of the verb in Russian.

The author of this article analyzed the modern psychological and pedagogical literature, considered the relevance of the development of students' reflective consciousness. Disclosed negative reflections, reflexivity; the importance of reflection on the upcoming real professional activity; features of the development of the reflective consciousness of students. Also, the author of the article conducted a study on the identified problem.

The article talks about the need to develop the communicative competence of the military Air Force School cadets by introducing interactive methods of teaching a foreign language. Such a teaching method is an effective means of developing students' communication skills.
