The article presents a methodological development of an educational research project titled "Beneficial Properties of Food Plants," designed to be implemented in a botanical garden setting for 6th-grade students. The relevance of utilizing botanical garden resources within the educational process is substantiated, taking into account the age-related psychological characteristics of younger adolescents. The article describes the project structure and the system of tasks aimed at developing observation skills and environmental thinking, as well as the interdisciplinary connections between biology and geography. The pedagogical potential of project-based activities within a natural environment for the socialization and cognitive development of students is revealed.
Project activities in kindergarten play a key role in the educational process, fostering the development of critical thinking, creative abilities, and collaboration skills in children. Involving parents in joint projects creates unique opportunities for interaction and experience exchange. This article discusses the importance of selecting relevant topics, methods for organizing project activities, and examples of successful projects. It emphasizes the significance of a supportive atmosphere for the successful implementation of projects, which contributes not only to the educational development of children but also to strengthening the bonds between children, parents, and educators.
This article examines the role of project-based learning in developing key competencies in students in general education institutions in Abkhazia. The author analyzes the theoretical foundations of project-based learning, its advantages, and the potential for developing students' skills in demand in the modern world. Particular attention is paid to the specific application of project-based learning in the Abkhazian educational system, identifying factors that facilitate and hinder its effective implementation. The article offers practical recommendations for integrating project-based methods into the educational process, aimed at improving the quality of education and preparing graduates for successful self-realization in various areas of life.
