The article examines the theoretical foundations of algorithmic thinking development in primary school children. The main approaches to defining the concept are analyzed, and the structure of algorithmic thinking as applied to primary school age is identified. The author's methodological system, implemented by means of the LEGO Education WeDo 2.0 construction set, is presented. This system includes target-oriented, content-based, procedural, organizational, and evaluative components. The system is based on four types of educational tasks (reproductive, adaptive, productive, heuristic) arranged according to the principle of increasing complexity.
The article deals with the actual problem of forming holistic ideas about the small peoples of the North of Russia among younger schoolchildren. The author substantiates the potential of project activity as an integrative method combining cultural-anthropological, activity-based, age-psychological and region-oriented approaches. The results of the "Family of Russia" project, which resulted in the creation of a collective book, are presented. The effectiveness of the proposed pedagogical conditions in the development of fourth-graders' ideas about geography, everyday life, holidays and culture of the small peoples of the North is proved.
the article examines the formation of reading literacy among younger schoolchildren in extracurricular activities. The relevance is associated with a decrease in interest in reading and the need to develop skills in meaningful reading, analysis and interpretation of texts. The purpose of the study is to identify effective pedagogical conditions for the formation of reading literacy in children aged 9-10 years within the framework of the Literary Magazine circle. The results of the ascertaining stage showed an insufficient level of motivation and reading skills among a significant part of the students. The program of the circle based on creative and project activities has provided positive dynamics of indicators. The methodology can be applied in educational practice.
The article deals with the urgent problem of patriotic education of the younger generation in the context of modern challenges associated with the digitalization of childhood and declining interest in reading. Based on the analysis of strategic documents of the Russian Federation and the social demand of society, the necessity of searching for new pedagogical approaches is substantiated. The author presents the experience of implementing an information and creative project in a preschool educational institution aimed at developing patriotic feelings in children and their parents through promoting the reading of fiction about the Great Patriotic War and the special military operation. The article describes in detail the stages, forms of work with children, teachers and parents, and also presents an analysis of the project's effectiveness, confirming its efficiency for the formation of moral qualities and cognitive activity of preschoolers.
This article examines the development of schoolchildren's national cultural identity through foreign language teaching. Particular attention is paid to the role of local history in the educational process. Using the regional material of the city of Ryazan is taken as an example. It is shown that including regional material in foreign language lessons promotes students' conscious attitude toward their own culture, fosters a sense of belonging to their native land, and increases their motivation to learn.
The article explores the pedagogical potential of using descriptions of landmarks, biographies of famous local residents, project-based and research activities, and comparative cultural analysis.
It concludes that integrating local history content into foreign language teaching promotes intercultural competence and the development of a harmonious personality capable of effective intercultural dialogue.
