The article examines the issue of updating the socio-cultural potential of the region through the prism of students’ project activities in a foreign (English) language. Using a specific example of a 6th grade student’s project to create a travel brochure about the Ryazan region, the mechanisms of integrating local history content into the process of foreign language education are analyzed. The author proves that such projects not only form communicative foreign language competence, but also perform a significant educational and career guidance function, contributing to the development of regional identity, civic responsibility and popularization of the cultural heritage of the small homeland. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the choice of attractions (Paustovsky Trail, the Sky of Russia Festival, Ryazan Kremlin, Staraya Ryazan, Kasimov, Skopin) as representatives of the multifaceted socio-cultural potential of the region.
The article is present the example of the digital project “The Museum of Misnomers” as an effective means of developing intercultural communicative competence of future foreign language teachers. The organization of students’ project-base d activities are analyzed; the pedagogical potential is revealed. The digital Museun is seen as an effective space for interpreting and understanding language.
The article considers the issue of patriotic education of students
in the process of teaching physics and mathematics at school. The relevance
of integrating the patriotic component into the curricula for the exact sciences
to develop respect for national history, culture and scientific achievements
in schoolchildren is substantiated. Theoretical aspects and practical methods
of patriotic education are proposed, including a historical and scientific approach, project activities and the integration of patriotic themes into educational tasks. Examples of tasks for students in grades 7–9 are presented, aimed at developing patriotic consciousness through familiarization with the achievements of domestic scientists and engineers, as well as the use of physical and mathematical knowledge to solve applied problems. The importance of these methods for increasing the interest of schoolchildren in physics and mathematics, developing their civic responsibility and preparing them for professional activities is emphasized.

The paper presents practical tasks and project-based activities aimed at developing engineering thinking, civic responsibility, and a value-based attitude towards Russia's scientific and technological heritage.
