. In article is considered possibilities of diversification of the monoprofile cities as a way of a sustainable development of the region. Undoubtedly, in the conditions of modern economic instability, the monobranch cities need creation of individual image, realization of own potential. In article it is said that now the enter-prises will be able to carry out not only a production activity, but also to focus attention on the sphere of service and tourism, being directly involved in development of economy of the monoprofile cities.
This article describes various types of risks as well as methods of controlling them on the example of a wholesale trade of "Asteria". A brief summary of the formation of the company, its interaction with suppliers and strategic planning activities is given. The article lays bare one of the most acute problems of today – the relationship between Russian Federation and Turkish Republic under the conditions of a complicated political situation. Political risks which cause economic risks of the enterprise are examined.

The article is devoted to the development of strategies for sustainable development of the organization. The paper offers approaches to the definition of "strategy" concept, outlines the main stages of developing a strategy for the safe development of a company. The authors present the results of the diversification strategy for the existing agricultural company of the Rostov region.
Monitoring and forecasting of tourism is essential for market promotion and management. Correct forecasting in tourism allows to increase the effectiveness of the work of organizations and further development. This article considers forecasting the results of the development of the thematic tour «Taste of the Island of Freedom», and also provides an analysis of monitoring of this project. The forms of diversification of the tourist product as a method of attraction and expansion of the tourist audience are offered.
