The article is devoted to the forms and methods of efficiency patriotic potential life safety course among students of classes X–XI.

In modern society, a new moral character of a law enforcement officer is being formed, who possesses such qualities as decency, honesty, and justice. The article discusses the need and validity of teaching this discipline for students majoring in "Economic Security". This discipline should be taught in the second year, after studying the basics of psychology and jurisprudence, and help to form the honor and dignity of future specialists.

The article examines the fate of people involved in a special military operation conducted by Russia. The motivation of those who volunteer for the front is revealed. The emphasis is on what drives such people a sense of duty. This is a duty to oneself, to family, to relatives and friends who make up a close circle. It shows how this close circle expands with the inner growth of the characters and their understanding of the events taking place. It is emphasized that the heroes consider themselves called upon to stop the evil that brings death and destruction of destinies, or by virtue of the possibilities to help those who are fighting this evil. As a result, the sense of involvement of the heroes in the fate of the country is aggravated. In addi-tion, the article traces the spiritual growth of the heroes.

The article examines the state and trends in the wheat market. An analysis of market prices for wheat was carried out for the period 2020-2023. at grain collection points in the Rostov region. The influence of the mechanism of floating export duties on domestic market prices has been studied. As a result of the research, a general conclusion was ob-tained – the wheat market in 2023 is in a state of collapse. Prices have fallen to levels that do not cover producers' costs. The mechanism of a floating grain export duty requires ur-gent adjustment in terms of ensuring fair pricing.

The influence of the grain damper mechanism on the purchasing prices of traders was studied. As a result of the research, a general conclusion was obtained – the barley market in 2023 is in a state of collapse. Barley prices have fallen to levels that do not cover producers' costs. The mechanism of a floating grain export duty requires urgent adjustment in terms of ensuring the economic interests of producers.
