The article is devoted to the actual problem of development of mathematical abilities of preschool children. The characteristic features of the personality of preschool children, as well as scientific works devoted to fairy tale therapy and elements of logical and mathematical development are analyzed. The necessity of involvement of preschool children in this type of activity for the purpose of enrichment of their logical and mathematical experience is revealed and proved.
The article discusses the types of fairy tales and methods of fairy-tale therapy. There are such methods of fairy-tale therapy as storytelling and writing fairy tales; drawing fairy tales; making dolls.
The article is devoted to the description of the results of an experimental test of the possibilities of fairy tale therapy in the formation of moral ideas in children of senior preschool age. The author provides a description of the developed program and its testing and concludes that the means of fairy tale therapy provide ample opportunities in the formation and development of the moral sphere in children.

A developing technology in an environment of artistic and creative dialogue is a result of the long-term joint design, educational and exhibition experience. The purpose of this article is to present and justify the authors’ methodological materials on writing a fairy tale based on an artist's painting for fairy tale therapy and for using it in order to develop an individual's creative potential. As a result of the study, the authors have given a definition of “the author’s fairy tale based on the artist’s painting”; summarized theoretical information about the phenomenon of fairy tales; developed an algorithm for writing a fairy tale based on the artist’s painting, justified its psychological structure; made a list of technologies for searching for a plot and selecting fairy tale characters based on painting. It was found that the environment of the exhibition encouraged viewers of the exhibition to become the authors of their own fairy tales based on the painting.
The article discusses the development of articulatory motor skills in preschoolers with severe speech disorders using fairy tale therapy. Due to the increase in the number of children with disabilities and the increase in the number of children with severe speech disorders, new methods of correctional and developmental work are required. One of these methods is fairy tale therapy. The features of the development of children with severe speech disorders, the goals and objectives of correctional and developmental work are revealed. Examples of using the method of fairy tale therapy in speech therapy classes are presented. By performing a variety of games and exercises with different characters, preschoolers immerse themselves in a fairy tale, which helps to interest and hold the attention of children. Preschoolers have increased motivation for the learning process. Complexes of games and exercises promote the development of strength, mobility, and strengthen the muscles of the speech apparatus. The results of using fairy tale therapy in correctional and developmental work with preschoolers with severe speech disorders are presented.
