The article explains the technique of paroemic semantics cognitive-pragmatic modelling applied to the problem of identifying the value substratum as the accumulator of Russian ethnic culture stereotyped morality. During the research, a research algorithm for describing the value content of paroemia is presented, taking into account different levels of its semantic structure (generalized meaning, internal form and pragmatic expression of meaning).

The article is devoted to the study of cognitive-frame features of epistemic adverbs in English. The most frequent adverbs of the English epistemic modality are considered. The aim of the work is to describe the cognitive meanings of epistemic adverbs and identify their textual implementation in the form of frames. The authors argue that the epistemic adverbs have a cognitive-frame structure in the English language, in terms of content reflecting mental processes based on experience and knowledge.
Abiding interest in methods of semantization of lexical units, actively used in the field of studying Russian as a foreign language, and the search for new approaches determined to the extent by the topic – to communicate in Russian, foreign students have to not only be aware of the meaning of Russian words, but also to master them, i.e. be able to adequately use them in producing proper statements. The process of optimizing revealing the meanings of words and establishing them by foreign students can serve as a tem-plate for the integrated use of linguistic means of semantization in lexical work, including the actual interpretation of the results, analysis of the distributional environment of words and its varied connections with other elements of the language system, which can be supplemented by the analysis of the distributive environment of a word and its various connections with other elements of the language system, which can be supplemented by the inclusion in the process of word semantization of information obtained through the analysis of frame semantics. Implementation elements of this approach are demonstrated in the article using the example of the name of the frame “bet”, which represents a certain structure of data about one of the stereotypical situations of the surrounding reality.
