The article presents practical tasks for the development of functional literacy among 4th – 5th grade students on the topic: "The pearl of our region is Lake Baikal". Tasks can be used in the lessons of the surrounding world and in extracurricular activities.
The article "A set of tasks on functional literacy for students of grades 5–7 on the topic "The life of a polar bear" presents tasks for the development of functional literacy in various areas: reading, mathematical, natural science literacy and creative, global competencies. The set of tasks is designed for students of grades 5–7 of secondary schools. The tasks are aimed at developing the student's abilities to conduct reasoning, formulate and apply knowledge to solve problems in a variety of real-world contexts.
This article presents the development of a block of tasks for the development of functional literacy of students in the subject of "Man". The whole work consists of several variants of tasks that allow students to improve mathematical literacy, creative thinking, global competencies, natural science literacy, reading literacy. The tasks are designed for students in grades 5–7. The development can be used both outside of school hours and in regular lessons.
This article offers tasks for the development of functional literacy among students of grades 5–7 on the topic «Atomic energy». The tasks are aimed at developing functional literacy in five aspects – reading, mathematical, natural science, global and creative literacy. In the course of completing the tasks, students will not only develop the skills to use the acquired knowledge to solve life problems, but also learn a lot about ways to obtain electricity, radiation and the impact of energy enterprises on the environmental situation.
One of the effective ways to develop functional literacy of schoolchildren is the use of games that help to increase motivation and interest in studying various subject areas. This article presents the result of the development of an interactive board game for the development of functional literacy of students in grades 5-8. The game consists of several levels, each of which is a separate task aimed at developing specific skills of functional literacy. A feature of this interactive board game is the possibility of using it as a task bank for the development of other methodological solutions, which allows you to supplement the collection with new material.
