In this paper the author examines the religious rituals, the essence of which is the embodiment of religious ideas, an expression of belonging to a particular religious cult is a symbolic collective actions focused on the metaphysical objects. The author draws attention to religion, the basis of which is the belief in the supernatural, it assumes the existence of bilateral relations between the person and the object of worship. Religious rites continue to occupy an important place in human life, in spite of the modern pace of life and a certain workability in the development of civilization. This is connected with the age-old traditions, as well as the internal necessity of support from above, the belief in the existence of a higher justice.

The article explores the establishment and development of the English legal system. The influence of the Roman law on the development of the law of England in the period of its formation is evaluated. The author makes analysis of the formation stages of common law and justice law characteristic features in the Middle Ages period, as well as changes in English law institutions during modern period. The current condition of English law is characterized.

The article discusses the main aspects of the problem of justice as a plural phenomenon. Five aspects of this problem are defined and analyzed: logical, linguistic, axiological, normative and contextual. Main theories of justice in contemporary social sciences that consider justice from a position of plurality are the conceptions by M. Walzer and L. Boltanski and L. Thevenot. A possible complement to these theories may be the concept of "areas of justice".
