The article examines aspects of intercultural asymmetry and cultural universals in the process of intercultural communication, provides an analysis of examples of intercultural asymmetry and the reasons for its occurrence, the role of cultural universals in the implementation of intercultural dialogue.

The article discusses the features of studying phraseology in Russian language lessons according to the updated Federal State Educational Standard, as well as the possibilities of using an integrated learning approach in this branch of linguistics. Some methodological recommendations are given on the use of an integrated approach in studying phraseological units in Russian language lessons and literature lessons.

This article analyzes Russian-language journals operating in Turkey and focusing on Russia and Russian culture. These publications are viewed as a significant element in the development of intercultural and scholarly interaction between Russia and Turkey. The paper highlights their role in shaping public perceptions of Russia among the Turkish public, as well as among specialists, including through the example of the peer-reviewed open-access online journal “Russian Insights: Literature, Culture and Linguistic” published by Atatürk University in Erzurum.
