At present, great attention is paid to the creation of an educational space using modern information technologies. In this regard, the article discusses the development and implementation of the project "The role of the virtual teaching room in improving the teacher's didactic training", within which a model of the innovative educational space of continuous pedagogical education will be created.

The article analyzes the experience of the Department of Russian and Foreign Languages of the Academy of the Federal Penal Service of Russia in organizing events and implementing projects that contribute to the professional growth of teachers.
