The paper discusses one of the problems of connected with formation of correct and timely speech development among preschool children. The authors analyze the characteristics of phonemic awareness of preschool children; reveal its role in the formation of writing skills; disclose components of phonemic perception and conditions for its proper formation. Diagnostic block can be used to determine the level of phonemic perception among preschoolers. The authors developed and tested the system of games and exercises that can be useful to teachers for the development of phonemic awareness of preschool children.

The article deals with theoretical questions of education of diligence in children of the advanced preschool age in the conditions of kindergarten in the course of acquaintance of children with world around and adults’ labor. The pedagogical conditions necessary for development of diligence in children of the advanced pre-school age are revealed; the technology of education of diligence in children of the advanced preschool age in the course of acquaintance with the social world is developed and experimentally approved.
