The article studies the evolution of the system of state support for small and medium-sized businesses in the UK. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the state program for the deregulation of small business sector, the evaluation of its socio-economic efficiency. It justifies the need to adapt the experience of Great Britain for Russia in centralizing the state administration of small and medium-sized businesses, creating an institute for evaluating the effectiveness of government programs to support small businesses, and deregulating the small and medium-sized businesses sector.

The article is devoted to the issues of ensuring the rights and legal interests of the participants at the stage of initiating a criminal case. Some proposals are made to amend the current legislation. Properly processed and legally obtained evidence should be a guarantee of a fair and reasonable sentence. To sum up, the author concludes that the legal and moral content of criminal procedure at the stage of initiating a criminal case are inseparable.

The article is devoted to the study of the globalization phenomenon. All countries of the world are currently involved in economic integration processes. The author describes the goals, methods and trends of economic globalization. The opinions of researchers that emphasize the positive aspects of globalization, as well as the opinions of scientists, which reveal the negative aspects of globalization, are presented. The results of globalization are listed. It is concluded that a multipolar model of sustainable social and economic development should become a progressive form of economic integration.

The article is devoted to the history of judicial power division theory development in Russia. The theory of powers division into legislative, executive and judicial ones became the basis for the formation of independent judiciary. The author describes the opinions of various scientists, those who supported this theory, and those who criticized it. Some problems in implementing the theory of powers division in the Soviet period are noted. It is concluded that after the implementation of modern judicial reform, the judiciary in Russia received an impulse to a new round of development and began to be consolidated as an influential power, independent of executive and legislative powers.

The article is devoted to the psychological theory of law developed by the Russian scientist L.I. Petrazhitsky. Morality and law are correlated as different types of ethical phenomena. The author describes the opinions of various scientists, both of those who supported this theory and of those who criticized it. Various criteria for distinguishing law from non-legal phenomena are considered. It is concluded that L.I. Petrazhitsky opened new sides of morality and law relationship substantiation through this theory of law.
