The relevance of the chosen research topic is determined by the importance of ensuring the economic security of the region, which is considered in this article in the context of the implementation of the ongoing investment policy. The main measures of the investment policy are aimed at maintaining and increasing the level of economic security; however, it is necessary to take into account the fact that it depends on a large number of internal and external factors that have a multidirectional influence on it. The purpose of the article is to examine theoretical approaches to the study of the term "economic security" at the regional level, as well as to identify factors and threats that affect investment policy, which is considered in the system of ensuring the economic security of the region. The article also presents an algorithm for evaluating the economic security level criteria, considered in direct connection with investment policy.

The purpose of the article is to study theoretical approaches to the formation and implementation of investment policy at the regional level. The relevance of the chosen research topic is due to the fact that the investment policy ensures the creation of a favorable environment, promotes the inflow of attracted investments and increases the efficiency of their use and, as a consequence, the social environment and economy in the region develops positively. The purpose of the article is to study theoretical approaches to the formation and implementation of investment policy at the regional level. Taking into account the fact that power in the Russian Federation has a decentralized nature, the role of its formation and implementation at the regional level is especially great. Only at the level of a specific region it is possible to work out such a development strategy that will take into account the specifics of this particular territory and will allow to achieve the set goals more quickly and efficiently, increase the level of key indicators and take a leading position at the country level.

The purpose of the article is to study theoretical approaches to the implementation of various measures to support small businesses at the regional level. At present, the development and functioning of small business requires increased attention at all levels. A special role in this process is played by the regional level, where the formation of a support system takes place, which directly affects the key showings of the business. The article discusses the principles, essence and functions of small business, various aspects of its impact on the development of the region. In addition, the work presents the main forms of support for small businesses at the regional level, factors influencing the functioning and development of small businesses, the main objects of business infrastructure in the region. In the proposed work, the authors use a standard methodology including the following elements: development of a research algorithm, conduct of content analysis, selection of research methods, assessment of parameters and substantiation of factors influencing on the subject of research. Methods of synthesis and analysis, methods of tabular and graphical visualization of research results are used as the main research methods in this work, which made it possible to form a comprehensive idea of the object of research – a system for supporting small businesses. The system of supporting small businesses in this article is considered from the viewpoint of an integrated and factor approaches.

The relevance of this work is due to the importance of the business sector in the socio-economic development of the regional economy. In connection with the above, it is important to pay special attention to the development and functioning of small businesses at the regional level, where the formation of a support system and infrastructure is taking place. The purpose of this study is to identify the features and characteristics of the small business support system in the processes of its formation and development. The article discusses the theoretical aspects of the formation and development of the support system for small business in the Sverdlovsk region. The authors conduct a comprehensive study and give a detailed description of the existing support system for this sector of the economy.
