The article describes the structure of the currently developed information resource on the Internet "Mathematical Education in Vyatka Krai". The main structural blocks of the regional information system and their main functional capabilities are revealed, which are laid by the project organizers at the stage of its development. The necessity of inclusion of these or those components in the structure of the resource as well as the entire information system as a whole is substantiated.

The article reveals the basic content of the objective course of additional mathematical formation of "inventive geometry", which is a structural unit of the system of training courses for the continuous development of creative thinking of students and uses tools and techniques specific to teaching mathematics. We give a general description of the system and determined in her course "Inventive geometry" for 7-9 grade students. The course content included issues related to the base geometry effects borrowed from TRIZ and adapted for high school, as well as practical, laboratory, design and research as key ideas actively introduce recently in the general education system-activity approach.

The article describes the experience of visiting the Olympiad in mathematics in the Kirov region for applicants Vyatka State University, organized in the 2015/2016 academic year, the Faculty of Computer and Physical and Mathematical Sciences. The competition presents practice-oriented assignment of two difficulty levels: Basic tasks that are typical of the final certification for the course of the primary school, and case-assignment of the three branches of mathematics: algebra, mathematical analysis and probability theory with increasingly complex tasks. A version works with solutions and analysis of the generalized statistical results of pupils of 10-11 classes of educational institutions of the Kirov region, took part in the competition.

The article describes the experience of the team competition on the geometric design containing the problem of open and semi-open type and is based on the principles of the activity approach to teaching mathematics. A version of the work for pupils of 8-9 classes, which was proposed by the students as part of the day of physical and mathematical knowledge of innovative educational project "Days of scientific knowledge" in the lyceum number 21 of the city of Kirov.
