The terminological apparatus reflecting the content of the stated research task is considered in the article. The concept of "Effect" and "Efficiency" is analyzed and a version of these terms interpretation is presented; the classification of efficiency types is considered; the main goals of the enterprise effective functioning are outlined; special attention is paid to the study of economic and social, as well as socio-economic efficiency; the basic concepts of efficiency (categories, principles, indicators) are investigated with detailed consideration of each; the author's definition of "enterprise efficiency" and " enterprise efficiency evaluation" is presented; the main tasks of the enterprise efficiency evaluation are underlined; the importance of enterprise efficiency evaluation for the enterprise and society is determined.

The article deals with the study of functioning and the characteristic role of metaphors in the W. S. Maugham's novel «The Painted Veil». The purpose of the article is to analyze the features of metaphors in the novel of the British writer William Somerset Maugham «The Painted Veil». The article defines the concept of "metaphor" and its main types. It is argued that the metaphor is used in the literary texts to give the statement an emotional and expressive tone. The article discusses metaphors of a literary text and the features of metaphors use in a literary text.
The article by M. V. Tretyakova examines the joint experience of the school and kindergarten, within the framework of cooperation. pedagogical techniques, which are based on the following principles: principles of freedom of choice, openness, activity, feedback, ideality. In the article, the author analyzes the generalized work. In her work, M.V. Tretyakova pays special attention to the results of using the described techniques in the conditions of cooperation implementation. The idea is substantiated that joint events provide younger schoolchildren with the ability to self-development and self-improvement. In general, the author comes to the conclusion that cooperation and organization of joint events of pedagogical technology in primary school contribute to the comprehensive development of students.
