This article deals with the methods of influencing the educational process in the light of the factors contributing to the intensification of educational and cognitive activity in the process of learning. A complex issue is offered as a practical application of these methods.

The article presents the dynamics of development and estimation of the present dairy cattle breeding state in the Ulyanovsk region; the authors identify the factors determining the level of milk production intensification, among which the process of livestock reproduction, the modernization of the material and technical base and the level of cows feeding deserve special attention; the directions of dairy cattle breeding efficiency improvement in the region are substantiated.

The article is focused on the analysis of German expressionist lyric poetry, devoted to the theme of a big city, which aroused ambivalent feelings in the poets of this current: on the one hand, the magical appeal of its lights, noise, fun, recklessness and adventurism, and, on the other hand, - person’s alienation, anonymity, perplexity and hopeless loneliness in a crowd of people. The analysis of the sonnet by Alfred Wolfenstein “Städter’’ demonstrates new writing techniques developed by expressionists, such as simultanism, montage, and intensification.
