The article examines the problem of developing moral qualities in children at the primary school age, which is a period particularly conducive to the assimilation of moral norms and values. It analyzes the age-related characteristics of primary school students that influence the process of moral development, as well as the key factors of upbringing, such as family, school, and social environment. The article describes effective pedagogical methods and tools for developing moral qualities, including play and extracurricular activities, analysis of literary works, and the role of adults as role models. Special attention is given to the interconnection between the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral components of moral development.
This article is devoted to current methods of developing motivation to learn in younger schoolchildren. The author discusses effective ways to activate cognitive interest, contributing to the successful acquisition of knowledge and the development of personal qualities. Particular attention is paid to the characteristics of the mental development of children of primary school age, such as emotional sensitivity, receptivity to praise and the need for approval from significant adults. Among the main methods are gaming technologies, creating a favorable psychological atmosphere, an individualized approach to learning, setting achievable goals, organizing independent work and inclusion in collective activities. The use of the proposed methods helps to form stable educational motivation, develops the ability to self-discipline and increases the overall performance of younger schoolchildren. The article is intended for primary school teachers interested in increasing the efficiency of the educational process.
