This article analyzes the non-equivalence of fishing line on the material of the Yakut heroic epic olonkho “NurgunBootur the Swift” and translations into Russian and English. Based on the collected material in the amount of 795 lexical units, a classification is made and the main ways of translating selected groups of non-equivalent vocabulary are identified. The theoretical basis of this article was composed by the work of famous researchers in the theory of translation, language and culture.
In the article numeral «forty» in phraseological units of Russian, English and German is considered. Phraseological context contributes to the desemantization of this component. Numeral loses its mathematical significance. The studied numeral phraseological units allow figuratively speaking about various phenomena of life and human activity
The phenomenon of the “comic” has been given due attention in the framework of various scientific approaches in order to determine its essence, means of expression, etc. The article discusses the role and place of phraseological units as a means of creating the comic in E. Kestner’s works, which relate to different literary genres.

The article is devoted to the linguoculturological analysis of phraseological units of bog Tatars formed on the basis of formulas of ill wishes. Malice refers to a negative figurative-expressive speech unit that has acquired the status of a cliché, a formula that serves as the basis for the formation of human nominations.
