The article discusses the use of interactive teaching methods in teaching law to students of the faculty of secondary vocational education of a higher education institution. It is emphasized that interactivity contributes to immersion of the student in the subject and the formation of his necessary competencies. Such interactive methods as heuristic conversation, case study method, business game, problem learning method, project method are analyzed. It is concluded that interactivity is a mandatory component of modern education, which is able to provide high-quality student learning.
The article substantiates the need for professionally oriented content of teaching foreign languages in institutions of secondary vocational education; recommendations are given for the implementation of vocationally oriented training in the process of various types of speech activity both in class and during independent work of students.
This article is devoted to a critical analysis of English language textbooks and their possible use in integrated lessons of Humanities, such as history and English in secondary vocational education. The author recommends textbooks that are more in line with modern standards of education, contain integration of disciplines, text tasks, communicative exercises that fully contribute to the development of foreign language communicative competence of students in the Secondary education system.
The author of the article gives a critical analysis of the English language textbooks for construction specialties of higher and specialized secondary educational institutions and considers the possibility of their implementation in teaching English to students of secondary vocational education institutions. Based on the analysis and the experience of using these textbooks, the author, lists the disadvantages and advantages inherent in each textbook, compares them with each other and concludes that it is advisable to implement the analyzed textbooks in the educational process in College.
