The analysis of features of development of leadership skills of students, and also the analysis of results of the leadership skills received after carrying out the psychology and pedagogical program of development is presented in article.
The article discusses the theoretical basis for studying the problem of value-semantic barriers in the student age in psychological science. The author analyzes the concept of «value-semantic barriers of personality», as well as some aspects of the relevance of the study of value-semantic barriers in the student's age. It is concluded that the problem of value-semantic barriers acquires the greatest importance at student age, when active personal development occurs along with the development of the profession, accompanied by many contradictions.

The definition of the phenomenon of resilience is given, the components of resilience are considered. The data of a comparative analysis of the characteristics of resilience of students studying at a pedagogical university are described.
The article analyzes the results of an empirical study of the characteristics of the motivation for studying at a university for students of different profiles. The results obtained by the author indicate that the actual educational motives (cognition, mastery of the profession) do not always come to the fore, which can complicate the educational and professional activities of students and their subsequent entry into labor activity.
