Students as an age category have a certain set of psychological characteristics and age-related developmental objectives. The conditions of modern life influence on the content of these objectives, concretizing them in accordance with the actual needs of the student. The article examines the age-related developmental objectives of the noted age: expansive, pragmatic, axiological and reflexive.
The article presents the results of an empirical study of the characteristics of students' gender identity. The author analyzes the parameters of evaluation, strength, activity and predictability for traditional, isomeric, undifferentiated and androgynous types of gender identity and concludes that with an undifferentiated type, students tend to evaluate themselves in the context of gender more negatively than with other types.
The article deals with the issues of psychological well-being of modern students. The approaches of different authors to the consideration of the concept of "psychological well-being", its origin, content, structural components are described, the functions of psychological well-being are analyzed. Attention is paid to the disclosure of some aspects of the development of psychological well-being in student age.
The paper considers an empirical study of the features of self-regulation of students with different levels of self-esteem. After analyzing the results of the study, it was revealed that respondents with low self-esteem have low indicators on all scales of self-regulation. Respondents with an average level of self-esteem have average scores on the scales. In subjects with high and very high self-esteem, these indicators will be the highest. Thus, the results of the study suggest that students with different self-esteem have different values in terms of self-regulation.
The author actualizes the problem of studying the quality of life at the student age. Several approaches to determining the content of the quality of life of students are considered. The author compares the concepts of "subjective quality of life" and "social well-being". The components in the structure of the quality of life of students are presented.
