Humanization of education and focus on development of personality raise an issue of spiritual, moral and patriotic development of the rising generation. Excursion as a method of studying of local history helps to solve these complex prob-lems. Excursion on a known since the childhood street prepared by senior high school students and con-ducted by young tourist guides will tell a lot about those who live nearby, whose life experience and, maybe, heroism will become a role model and will help in formation of morals of a patriot.
