In the present article, the development of phrasal speech in ontogeny is considered. Specific defects of phrases in children with general underdevelopment of speech are noted. The authors make brief analysis of methodological recommendations for the examination of phrasal speech. They propose the parameters for the study of the phrase condition in preschool children with general underdevelopment of speech.

This article examines the state of independent written expressions among students of 5-6 grades with severe speech disorders. To study the state of independent written expressions, a number of diagnostic techniques were analyzed. The article describes the research methodology, organization of practical research and analysis of the results obtained.

The article deals with the question of the relationship between verbal and non-verbal means of communication in correcting severe speech disorders at various stages of speech therapy work. In modern speech therapy, the question of the correlation of additional means of communication is considered primarily for people with aphasic disorders, while pre-school speech therapy uses primarily verbal means of influence.

The materials of investigation of mechanisms of disturbance and features of speech therapist work on overcoming the unformed narrative narrative in children of preschool age with general speech underdevelopment are presented. The author not only revealed specific characteristic features of the violation of the descriptive utterance in children of this category, but also substantiated and outlined the directions and stages of logopedic work.

The paper discusses the diagnostics of connected speech of preschoolers with the general underdevelopment of speech. The authors analyze diagnostic techniques of different authors, detect contradictions in the structure and develop the system of diagnostic tasks. The paper includes the description of the organization, conduct and results of practical research based on MKDOU № 429 "Teremok" (Novosibirsk).
