In this paper the author examines the main quality parameters and performance of a new type of society, which are recognized as a reduction in the production share in the social product, the role of knowledge and technology, based on it, the predominance of a particular information, the acceleration of technological processes, the development of the services sector, improving the quality of life of the population. The author focuses on the establishment of the information society, which is justified by rapid changes in science and technology, and this has led to the historical process through the domination of civilized approach, which allowed to mark the different stages of civilization becoming the world's population by way of technical progress.

The author focuses on the structure of modern society, which believes its basic unit of individuals, and not just any group. As well as modern institutions according to the author are designed to perform specialized tasks with highly developed division of labor.

In this paper the author examines the role of the engineering profession for young people in post-industrial society. What is clear is that the society over the years, undergoing various types of changes in the social, technical, spiritual, economic and other spheres. This directly affects the way of thinking of people in this society, or directly related to it. The author focuses on the industrial stage, which was a symbol of the enterprise giants with many thousands of working class evolves quite rapidly, replaced by post-industrial industry. The author points out the features of the post-industrial economy in the modern Russian society. In place of enterprises with tens of thousands of employees come high-performance factories with a staff of several dozen employees.

In this paper the author considers the family as the most important social institution in the development of theoretical issues related to the main areas of study, family, its form, function and development trends. The author focuses on the practical significance of the study, that is the possibility of the use of their materials, guidelines and conclusions for the work of the organs of social services to work with the family in the development of social programs aimed at increasing the value of the family in human life.

In this paper the author examines the reforms of recent decades, where the Soviet system of physical culture was destroyed, mass physical culture and sports movement almost lost significant government support. Sports and physical development turned into a private matter, because the commercialization of a significant proportion of health and fitness services. This led to a marked decrease in the number of people involved in sports, to reduce the importance of sport in the general system of Russian values and, as a consequence, to the deterioration of the living standards of the public. Market relations dominating the society, as well as the liberation of the state from social obligations, influences the system of values of the individual layers of the population. On the values of sport and a healthy lifestyle are focused to a greater extent, the representatives of the higher strata of society, for which sport activities become part of the prestigious fashion and consumption. Representatives of the lower social groups, on the contrary, consider sports unnecessary and meaningless.
