The article reveals the specifics of the communicative development of students with mental retardation and cerebral palsy, justifies the need to adapt traditional pedagogical technologies to the digital environment. The results of a theoretical and empirical study on the management of an extracurricular activity program for the development of communication skills of children with disabilities in distance learning are presented.
The article is devoted to the actual problem of forming communicative universal educational actions in schoolchildren in accordance with the requirements of the Federal State Educational Standard. The author emphasizes the importance of developing both verbal and non-verbal communication skills through educational and extracurricular activities, including group work, discussions, role-playing games, and project activities. Special attention is paid to the role of teachers and families in the development of communicative competence, as well as to typical mistakes made by parents that hinder the development of communication skills. Effective methods of interaction with parents are proposed to create a supportive environment for the successful social development of children.
The report examines the experience of organizing educational work in primary schools through a system of extracurricular activities called «Conversations about important things.» The history of the emergence, the theoretical foundations and the practical implementation of this area of activity of the class teacher, aimed at the formation of a holistic personality of the younger student, are highlighted in detail. The paper presents the results of the practical application of this cycle of classes, demonstrating effectiveness in the development of personal qualities of students. The content and specific methods of work that contribute to the formation of moral guidelines, communication skills and social responsibility in children are described.
