The article discusses the features of preventing deviant behavior in children of primary school age. The article analyzes many factors influencing the formation of deviant behavior in children; the reasons for deviant behavior are indicated: biological, personal, social and family. The article identifies three main groups of deviant behavior: antisocial (delinquent behavior) behavior, asocial (immoral) behavior, self-destructive (self-destructive) behavior. Psychoprophylactic work can include measures at three levels: legal, medical and sanitary and pedagogical. An analysis and description of the destructive personal qualities of adolescents is given, including anxiety, hostility, aggression and cynicism, which negatively affect personality development.
