The paper is devoted to design of collections as an effective mean for the development of creative abilities and professional development of future designers of light industry. The paper discusses the improvement of academic disciplines of training, characteristics of kinds of collections, main stages of design of the author’s collection.
ACTUAL PROBLEMS OF INTEGRATION OF GENERAL PROFESSIONAL AND SPECIAL SUBJECTS IN MILITARY UNIVERSITIES
The article discusses current issues of integration of general professional and special disciplines during training in technical specialties in higher military educational institutions. Recommendations are given to increase the efficiency of students' mastery of competencies provided for by federal state educational standards by implementing the integration process of the relationship between disciplines of various cycles.

The relevance of the problem under study is determined by the fact that in the light of current trends over the past decades in the training of engineering personnel, the pretentious gaps between the need to meet the modern requirements of employers and society and the need for professional self-realization of engineers, which is determined by their ability to work in difficult conditions with insufficient resources, as well as by creative ideas, the ability to make non-standard and effective decisions, using the means of both native and foreign languages. The aim of the study is to present the didactic aspect of the implementation of creatively-oriented teaching model of oral professional communication to engineering students in practical foreign Language classes. Using the method of theoretical analysis, the blocks of the model of creatively-oriented teaching of oral professional communication to engineering students in practical foreign language classes were determined. Particular attention is paid to the presentation of key information about the most universal and effective methods, creativity techniques and artificial intelligence tools through the prism of teaching oral professional communication to engineering students in practical classes in the discipline “Foreign Language”. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that a model of creatively oriented teaching of oral professional communication to engineering students in practical foreign language classes has been proposed and implemented using technology for developing the creative potential of engineering students by means of artificial intelligence tools in the context of university education. A set of pedagogical conditions is considered that can contribute to the development of the creative potential of engineering students trained with artificial intelligence tools (a focus is on mastering a range of special techniques ranked by level of complexity, techniques for developing critical, radiant, creative thinking for solving professional problems; student’s ability to gain a resourceful condition; ability to transform a problem into tasks; ability to convey information to the querent, etc.). A model of creatively-oriented teaching of oral professional communication to engineering students during practical classes in the discipline “Foreign Language” is presented.

The relevance of the problem under study is due to the increased importance of studying English as a second foreign language. More and more representatives of other countries are studying English as a second foreign language with Russian as their first language, since it is the language of intercultural and interlinguistic communication on the world stage of educational space. The development of modern methods of teaching English as a second foreign language with Russian being the first is due to the introduction of modern educational digital technologies into the pedagogical process and their unsystematic use in the process of teaching English as a second foreign language and the need to master it as a foreign language at the level sufficient to master the curriculum. The purpose of the study is to develop a system of exercises using global simulation technology with the aim of developing the sociocultural competence of foreign students studying English as a second foreign language. Particular attention is paid to presenting key information about the didactic potential of global simulation technology. The scientific novelty lies in the fact that the authors identified theoretical and practical aspects of increasing the effectiveness of the formation of sociocultural competence among foreign students in the process of teaching English as a second foreign language; developed and scientifically substantiated exercises for the formation of sociocultural competence of foreign students – Linguistics majors in the process of teaching English as a second foreign language using global simulation technology. An analysis of the problem of developing the sociocultural competence of foreign students in the process of teaching English as a second foreign language was carried out. The educational potential of using global simulation technology as an organizational and activity basis for the effective formation of sociocultural competence among foreign students in the process of teaching English as a second foreign language is considered.

The article discusses the problem of training future engineers in terms of building up their general and professional competence. The urgency of this problem is due to the request of the state and society for training highly qualified specialists. The authors analyze conditions for the development of general and professional competence among students of engineering specialties. The relevance of the research topic is due to the need to train engineering personnel at the present time, taking into account the rapidly changing needs of society, the state, and the economy in such personnel. Satisfaction of this need can be ensured exclusively by improving the quality of training of future engineers, primarily by developing their general and special competences. The aim of the study is to analyze the role of natural science disciplines in the formation of the professional competence of future engineers. Research objectives include: characterization of the process of studying natural science disciplines from the perspective of their content, formed in the study of knowledge and ideas; research on the role of natural science disciplines in the formation of the professional competence of future engineers. Within the framework of the study, a systematic approach was applied, which considers competency as a characteristic of a person and a combination of knowledge, abilities, skills, value orientations and work experience. The main results of the study are presented in the form of an identified set of methodological and organizational conditions that ensure the formation of professional competence of future engineers through the study of natural science disciplines. The formation of common and special competences among future engineers is achieved through the formation of comprehensive ideas of the objects of the world around them. Conditions for this are created when studying natural science disciplines. An analysis of the specifics of the content of natural sciences in terms of the possibility to build up general and professional competence of engineering students is presented. The theoretical significance of the study is due to the systematization of knowledge and ideas about the role of natural sciences in the formation of the professional competence of engineering students, the possibilities of the modern education system to ensure a higher level of professional competence. An overview of various authors’ opinions on the conditions for the formation of general and professional competence of engineering students is presented. The practical significance of the study is due to the fact that the identified conditions for training future engineers through the study of natural sciences make it possible to ensure a high level of professional competence among future engineers without transforming the educational process, but only by changing the forms of organization of educational activities. The novelty of the study lies in the fact that the work presents a description of the methodology for developing general and professional competencies in engineering students through the study of natural science disciplines.
