With a high level of mastering the secondary general education program, compliance with punctuation and spelling norms in texts with a pragmatic orientation causes difficulties for students. The relevance of the problem under study is due to the importance of the formation of universal communicative competence for the successful professional realization of young specialists – graduates of universities of non-philological profile. The purpose of the article is to show the effectiveness of the use of normative legal acts and test tasks corresponding to the format of the Unified State Exam to update the knowledge of students and the formation of the ability to apply the rules of spelling and punctuation in the practice of written business communication.

The complex of lexemes with Proto-Slavic origins is revealed, the development of dialect semantics is analyzed. For the Russian lexemes proper, the generating bases are restored, the internal form is reconstructed. The sources of borrowing are determined.
