The article focuses on the special importance of the role of socially oriented non-profit organizations (SO NPOs) in the context of the implementation of state policy in the field of countering extremism. The article presents an analysis of the main provisions of the Strategy for Countering Extremism in the Russian Federation, approved by Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated December 28, 2024 No. 1124, concerning the activities of civil society institutions. Proposals have been formulated aimed at the active participation of SO NPOs in the fight against extremist manifestations.
The article describes a practice of involving the results of frame and concept analysis of national holidays which are celebrated by the peoples of Russia into the educational process of a multicultural university as a means of preventing national conflicts.
In the modern world, where borders are becoming more and more arbitrary, and cultural diversity is an integral part of life, the issue of ethnocultural socialization of the student's personality is becoming particularly relevant. This article is devoted to the study of this process in the context of the regional educational environment. We will look at how regional peculiarities, traditions and values influence the formation of a young person's identity, and which pedagogical approaches can be most effective for successful ethno-cultural socialization. Special attention is paid to the role of educational institutions as centers for the preservation and transmission of cultural heritage, as well as the need for students to develop tolerance, respect for other cultures, and the ability to engage in intercultural dialogue.
The article examines the issues of integration of the regional component in ELT at school. The main aspects of the regional component are represented in this paper. The major difficulties of implementation of this component are identified. Prospects of introduction of the regional component in the educational process are also explored. The author enumerates and analyzes the main ways of working with the regional component at English lessons.
