The article considers the basic methods of translating metrological vocabulary in themodern Chinese language. It provides examples of metrological lexis usage in Chinese phraseology and analyses specifics of Chinese measurement words usage incontemporary literature (prose). The article also presents guidelines fortranslating metrological lexis into the Russian language. There are also listed optimal translation methods of the metrological vocabulary in phraseological phrases in the Chinese language.
