The article describes the influence of intrapersonal conflict on the emotional sphere of a teenager. During adolescence, profound changes occur in mental processes, including the emotional sphere. The study describes how internal conflict activates the most intense emotional experiences, increases overall mental tension and sensitivity to stress factors.
The article presents the results of an empirical study on the existence of a relationship between self-esteem and the degree of perfectionism in adolescents. The author substantiates the relevance of the analysis of this problem in adolescence. A correlation analysis of the results revealed the presence of an inverse significant relationship between the level of self-esteem, in particular, on the scales of "self-confidence", "character" and "peer authority", and the degree of severity of socially prescribed perfectionism. The findings will be of interest to educational psychologists and educators in organizing developmental work on the formation of self-esteem and reducing perfectionism in adolescence.
The article attempts to identify the psychological features of the image of the world of modern boys and girls. A pilot empirical study was conducted, which revealed the main types of the image of the world according to the following components: self-image, idea of other people, idea of the world around them and idea of their lives.
The article considers eating disorders in adolescents as one of the problems of modern society. The authors determine the relevance of the problem under study, describe the variants of eating disorders that are most characteristic of adolescents, identify the main factors and causes of the formation of eating disorders, signs of eating disorders in adolescents, and give recommendations for adolescents and their parents on the prevention of eating disorders.
The article is devoted to the study of the peculiarities of child-parent relations in adolescence and the description of an effective method of their diagnosis and correction. Adolescence, characterized by intensive personality development and changing behaviors, is often accompanied by conflicts and misunderstandings between parents and children. The paper presents the «Traffic Light» technique developed by medical psychologists of the State Medical Institution «Children's Republican Clinical Hospital of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Tatarstan». The basis of the technique is E. Bern's scheme, which includes three ego states: «Child», «Adult» and «Parent». As part of the exercise, the participants interacted in various role combinations, which allowed them to understand the peculiarities of communication and the causes of conflicts. The results showed that constructive dialogue is achieved when interacting in an Adult-Adult position. The technique has received positive feedback and has proven its effectiveness in improving child-parent relations.
