The relevance of the article is due to the processes that have been taking place in Russian society over the past few years. For a long time, digitalization of education has been considered as an inevitable process of transformation of the educational process, changes in methods, forms and content of the system of education in Russia. At the same time, the education system had to take into account the goals that our society faces for socio-economic development, the formation of the digital economy in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution. The purpose of the study is to describe the main digital tools that a modern teacher needs to know. For this purpose, a description of these tools is carried out, their possibilities for use in the professional sphere are identified. The results of the study include recommendations for the study of resources and platforms used in the educational process. Methods used: theoretical – analysis of methodological literature and normative documents, forecasting of results; practical – pedagogical observation, testing, modeling of the learning process. The materials of the article can be used in the preparation of practical classes at universities, as well as for the organization of advanced training of teachers.

The article discusses the issues of training socially significant qualities in the State Budgetary Educational Institution of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) "Transport College" in accordance with the federal state educational standard, which are necessary when working in production. The role of railway transport will undoubtedly increase and will require additional equipment for the employer of JSC "Railways of Yakutia" with qualified specialists, both workers and engineering personnel. At the same time, socially significant qualities, the specifics of the future sphere of labor activity of graduates are taken into account. Since students from 33 uluses of the republic enter the technical school, including from remote and northern ones, a systematic approach to building the educational process in the specialty 23.02.01 "Organization of transportation and management in transport" shows the result of the learning process, expressed in the formation of general and professional competencies. Educational and methodological complexes of disciplines contain a work program, methodological recommendations, a calendar-thematic plan, a fund of assessment tools and provide the necessary level of training for specialists. They have shown the effectiveness of their application in the educational process. When hiring specialists, employers are guided precisely by such socially significant qualities that determine the specialist's compliance with the forthcoming work activity and take into account the formed professional competencies in the course of students' industrial and educational practices. This condition allows educational organizations to provide the educational process with the development of deeply thought-out educational and methodological documentation that meets new standards.
The article describes an approach to the formation of key professional competencies among graduates of the branch in the process of mastering one of the academic disciplines. The long-term practice of using the described approach has proved its effectiveness.
The article discusses the original methodological techniques for constructing practical classes in the study of the discipline Flight safety using case methods of varying degrees of complexity, depending on the level of training of cadets and their development of flight practice.
