The problem of the study of emotional intelligence occupies one of the most important places in modern psychology. Emotional intelligence is necessary for unlocking a person's potential, achieving goals in life and work, communication, and decision-making. Of particular interest is the study of emotional intelligence in students, which in the future may turn out to be life-determining. In this article, the author turns to the study of emotional intelligence among students – theologians.
The article analyzes the methods of studying emotional intelligence. Their capabilities and limitations are presented. The characteristics of the developed diagnostic tools are given. The stages of research implementation are outlined. The psychometric procedure for validating the developed diagnostic tools is briefly described. The ways of further methodological improvement of the diagnostic approach aimed at the study of emotional intelligence are outlined.
The article reflects the actual problem of interpersonal trust in adolescence (senior school) age. The article also discusses emotional intelligence, which is an important factor in interpersonal trust. The article describes a study of the interpersonal trust of high school students with different levels of emotional intelligence, which was attended by high school students in the city of Orenburg. From the results of the study, we found that interpersonal trust in senior school age differs among students with different levels of emotional intelligence. High school students with a low level of emotional intelligence are characterized by low interpersonal trust, which manifests itself in the fact that high school students are unreliable, often quarrel with others, feel unadapted, have difficulties and difficulties in interacting with other people.
The article is dedicated to the study of emotional intelligence in the process of language learning and the ways to practice it at the lessons of English. The sequence of tasks to practice emotional intelligence in modern textbooks is also analyzed. In this article we also managed to highlight the sequence of tasks with set expressions in the process of preparing for a dialogue making use of problem-based situations.
The article is dedicated to the study of emotional intelligence in English teaching and the ways of practicing it in the English class. In this article the author analyzes some of the modern techniques to practice speaking skills in the process of forming students’ emotional intelligence. Some of the techniques were used to carry out the experiment at school. The results of the experiment are described in the article.
