The paper discusses the differences in the indicators of emotional intelligence in nurses of an oncologic center with different work experience. The topic is relevant in connection with an increase in the incidence of the disease among population and an increase in the psychological and emotional load on nurses. The purpose of the work is to study the characteristics of the emotional intelligence of oncology dispensary nurses with different work experience. The results of the study demonstrate differences in the scales of “General emotional intelligence”, “Interpersonal emotional intelligence”, “Inner personal emotional intelligence”, which indicates the difference in understanding and controlling not only their emotions, but also the emotions of patients.
Diagnosis of emotional intelligence is important for both theoretical research and applied psychology. EI models are conditionally divided into two groups: the first group of methods is based on problem solving (ability model) and is based on cognitive abilities. The second model is built on a self-report (mixed model). The article provides information about the diagnostic methods used in the study of emotional intelligence, the main advantages and disadvantages of psycho-diagnostic tools are indicated. As a result, the purpose of the article is a review of methods for diagnosing emotional intelligence.
This article discusses the phenomenon of emotional intelligence of older preschoolers. Information is provided on which researchers have studied this phenomenon in Russia and other countries. It describes what it is necessary to develop emotional intelligence for. And how emotional intelligence affects the success and productivity of a person in solving practical problems.
The article presents materials revealing peculiarities of social intelligence and quality of formation of communicative skills in students of psycho – social faculty of medical university. After analysing the results of the study, it is possible to draw conclusions about the difference in the degree of empathy and importance of specific parameters in the structure of empathy of students of psychological and social and medical faculties. The hypothesis was put forward on the presence of a substantially high level of empathy in students of the psycho-social faculty, a high level of development of partial social intelligence. On the basis of the obtained data, recommendations were developed for the active development of social and emotional intelligence and through various techniques and exercises.
The article examines the relationship between the Self-concept, emotional intelligence of adolescents and their role in the educational process. The review of theoretical and experimental works of domestic and foreign psychologists in the study of the Self-concept as a system of expectations, attitudes, beliefs and ideas of a person about himself, performing important functions in his life, allowing him to identify himself with the reference group, to perceive the views, attitudes and behavior of this group. The results of studies involving adolescents show that, in addition to the indirect influence of perceived (subjective) emotional intelligence through self-esteem, emotional intelligence has a direct impact on life satisfaction. In the works of psychologists, the adaptive and stress-protective functions of emotional intelligence are proved. The results of these studies suggest that emotional intelligence can be considered as a factor of self-actualization of the individual. The emotional intelligence of the school class is a group-level construct based on the shared subjective emotional experiences of the group members. The author comes to the conclusion that the purpose of activating learning is to create didactic and psychological conditions for meaningful learning, which will allow students to be updated at a high level of intellectual and personal position. Only the knowledge that is based on cognitive interest has a significant impact on the formation of the personality and its mental development, the formation of perception, memory, thinking, ensuring success in the performance of activities that aroused interest.
