The paper describes possible ways of using pedagogical system of continuous formation of creative thinking and creativity development of students using the theory of inventive problem solving in schools. The paper proposes the introduction into the curriculum of integrative course on the methodology of creativity “foundations of creative, interdisciplinary activity” as a discipline formed by the participants of educational process, and update the content of the required disciplines through the use of instruments of methodology of creativity.

The paper describes competence-based model of formation of educational outcomes during the development of Federal State Educational Standards of secondary vocational education in preparing midcareer professionals. The proposed model has been successfully tested in Vyatka College of Culture in 2011-2015 at the full course of study of Federal State Educational Standards of secondary vocational education for the major “Art and culture”.

The paper describes the use of flowcharts for solving creative problems with the help of the S. Malkin’s algorithm of generating ideas; considers the adapted techniques of the theory of inventive problem solving, based on the algorithm of inventive problem solving (ARIZ) and the simplified algorithm for solving creative problems, which incorporates the basic steps ARIZ.
