The article is devoted to the study of the development of creative thinking in junior schoolchildren by means of graphic exercises. It is this age that is sensitive for the development of creative thinking. The aim of the work was to test the effectiveness of using graphic exercises for the development of creative thinking in first graders. The authors consider theoretical and methodological aspects of using graphic exercises, give examples of tasks and present the results of experimental work. It is noted that at this age we build the foundation of mental activity methods, and form the basics of mental actions.

The article is devoted to the study of communication skills formation among fourth-graders in the process of preparing the "Space" project. One of the tasks of primary school is to develop skills of communication with peers. To solve this problem, we propose to use project activities. The aim of the study was to identify the pedagogical conditions for the formation of communication skills among fourth-graders through the preparation of the "Space" project. The authors consider theoretical and methodological aspects of the project activities use in the formation of communication skills in fourth-graders, and give examples of the organization of the "Space" project. The practical significance of the article lies in the fact that the pedagogical conditions for the formation of communication skills in fourth-graders can contribute to the development of communication skills of students in the process of working on a project.

The article is devoted to the study of the thinking process of junior schoolchildren and one of the types of universal learning actions – logical actions that are the basis of the ability to learn. Teaching second-graders a logical method of classification in mathematics lessons causes some difficulties for the teacher. The subject of the research is the study of the specifics of thinking development in second-graders in mathematics lessons in the process of learning the method of classification. The purpose of the study is to identify the pedagogical conditions for the development of thinking in second-graders in mathematics lessons in the process of mastering the logical method of classification. The article describes the process of developing second-graders thinking in mathematics lessons by means of multilevel tasks.

The federal state standard for preschool education defines the tasks of teaching children the basics of safe behavior in the everyday life. Due to the fact that the child spends part of the time at home, the formation of the basics of safe behavior in everyday life is one of the most important areas of work for educators. The aim of the study was to identify the pedagogical conditions for the formation of basics of safe behavior in everyday life among children of 5–6 years by means of informative tales. The article describes the main results of the study: the ascertaining stage confirmed the low level of knowledge of children 5-6 years old about the basics of safe behavior in everyday life. At the formative stage, we worked out a series of informative tales for the formation and consolidation of children's ideas about safe behavior in everyday life on the following topics: sharp objects, first-aid kit, household chemicals, electrical appliances, fire, strangers outside the door. A control experiment confirmed the effectiveness of their use.

The article is devoted to the study of the possibility to develop second-graders’ aesthetic perception of landscape painting at the lessons of the surrounding world. The research task was to study pedagogical conditions for the development of second-graders’ aesthetic perception of landscape painting at the lessons of the surrounding world. The purpose of our study is to identify the pedagogical conditions for the development of second-graders’ aesthetic perception of landscape painting at the lessons of the surrounding world. Landscape painting allows us to expand and deepen the knowledge of children, as well as to teach them perceive and appreciate the beauty of the surrounding objects of nature. The article describes the process of developing aesthetic perception of landscape painting in second-graders at the lessons of the surrounding world, as well as an experimental study concerning this topic.
