The article examines modern approaches to foreign language teaching, focusing on the development of professionally-oriented foreign language competence among students in the humanities. The author analyzes key methodological strategies aimed at integrating language learning with professional training and emphasizes the importance of an interdisciplinary approach in the educational process. The paper presents examples of successful practices that contribute to the development of communication skills and critical thinking among students, as well as discusses modern technologies and resources used in teaching. The article will be useful for educators, methodologists, and researchers interested in enhancing the effectiveness of foreign language instruction in the context of humanities education.
This article examines the synergy of computer science and mathematics through the prism of an interdisciplinary approach to studying Cauchy sequences and describes how the interaction of mathematical theories and algorithmic practices allows us to create more efficient and robust algorithms for solving complex problems. The article analyzes the use of Cauchy sequences in various areas of computer science, such as numerical computing, data processing and machine learning, and emphasizes the importance of a mathematical foundation for the development of algorithmic thinking. Conversely, examples of the practical application of an interdisciplinary approach are analyzed, demonstrating how the synergy of the two sciences can lead to new discoveries and innovations. But this is possible only if there is a developed skill of independent problem solving, using a variety of tools. Thus, the article talks not so much about an interdisciplinary approach, but about the formation of universal literacy of students through the synthesis of mathematics and computer science. This article explores the interaction between the mathematical concept of the Cauchy sequence and its application in computer science, especially in the context of algorithmic thinking. At the same time, both mathematics and computer science are considered in the dominant format, that is, the role of each of the subjects is not reduced to the level of a tool. That is, on the one hand, the article reveals mathematical principles that help to form clear and effective algorithmic solutions in programming and data analysis. On the other hand, machine learning and optimization algorithms help to improve mathematical calculations in data processing. Thus, the article includes examples of the application of Cauchy sequences in various areas of computer science, such as numerical methods, machine learning and data processing. The main approaches to teaching algorithmic thinking are also discussed, with an emphasis on the importance of a mathematical foundation. This article presents the mutual penetration of two disciplines, with an attempt to maintain a balance between them, without translating into a tool format.

In an era of rapid social and state development and modernization of the legal system, the issue of quality in modern legal education has become increasingly important. Thus, legal education and the development of professional skills of future specialists play a fundamental role in the formation of a civil society. Therefore, the relevance of this study is determined by the need to adapt the legal education system to the modern requirements of society and the labor market, as well as by the need to train highly qualified legal professionals. The aim of this study is to develop an innovative legal education model that goes beyond simply transferring theoretical knowledge and instead fosters a comprehensive understanding of the law, analytical abilities, and professional competence among students. This model is based on a holistic approach that combines dialectical thinking, system analysis, and practical orientation. It is based on a synthesis of generally accepted scientific methods and specialized research tools, including processes of cognition that move from the particular to the general and vice versa, as well as the creation of educational models. Integration of various scientific fields plays a significant role, allowing us to combine the achievements of pedagogical science, psychological theory, law, and modern information technology into a unified educational system. The conducted research has allowed us to form a comprehensive model for legal education development based on a harmonious combination of traditional and modern practices. During the course of the work, we identified key directions for reshaping the educational process, with a focus on enhancing its practicality, incorporating digital technologies, and fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration. The scientific significance of the research lies in enriching the methodological foundation of legal education and developing innovative approaches to educational organization. The results have significant practical potential, which could be realized through improvements to the legal education system, enhancing the effectiveness of professional training, and promoting legal culture development in society. The practical significance of this work lies in the potential for implementing the developed recommendations in law school curricula, thereby improving the quality of legal training and ensuring the competitiveness of graduates in the job market. The potential for future research lies in testing the proposed model in an educational setting, monitoring its effectiveness, and making adjustments based on the findings.

This article explores interdisciplinary approach to teaching foreign languages in light of the requirements of the Russian Federal State Educational Standards (FGOS). It examines the theoretical foundations of integrating linguistic and subject-specific content, including the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) methodology, as well as practical prospects–such as enhancing learner motivation, fostering a holistic worldview, and supporting inclusive education. Particular attention is paid to key challenges: insufficient teacher training, a shortage of appropriate teaching and methodological resources, and organizational and assessment-related constraints. The article concludes that systemic changes in teacher education, curriculum design, and assessment procedures are essential for the effective implementation of interdisciplinary language instruction.
In the article, the authors focus on the methodological approaches and scientific methods of D. I. Mendeleyev, relevant for solving research problems in social and humanitarian disciplines. It is noted that the research activities of D. I. Mendeleyev, a graduate of the Physics and Mathematics Faculty of the St. Petersburg Pedagogical Institute who made a scientific discovery of the law of periodicity in chemistry, is a striking example of the productivity of an interdisciplinary approach. Particular attention is paid to his discovery of the law of periodicity of chemical elements, which is based on the methods of classification and systematization. The conclusion is made about the need to develop students' understanding of the diversity of approaches and methods for solving research problems.
