The article presents correctional and pedagogical approaches to the formation of self-care skills among students with moderate, severe and profound mental retardation, severe and multiple developmental disabilities. Based on differentiated, personality-oriented and activity-based approaches, the author considers the possibility of drawing up a program of correctional work that allows identifying individual characteristics of the formation of self-care skills and their formation. The article contains sample tasks that can be used by teachers as a basis for developing their own materials on the formation of students' self-care skills.
The article discusses the problem of the development of behavior regulation and disruption of its formation in autism spectrum disorders. A brief overview of domestic and foreign works on the study of the structure of mental regulation is presented. The data of scientific research on the peculiarities of the development of mental regulation functions in autism and the methods of their formation are analyzed.
This study is devoted to the study of the influence of alternative communication tools on social development and the level of speech development in students with autism spectrum disorders (ASD). The research is aimed at determining the effectiveness of using alternative communication as a communication support tool that promotes the expansion of social interactions and stimulates the development of verbal speech. The article presents the results of an empirical study conducted with the participation of students with ASD using various forms of alternative communication. Data analysis shows the positive impact of alternative communication on social adaptation and communication skills, as well as identifies factors influencing the effectiveness of their use. The results obtained emphasize the importance of integrating alternative communication into the educational process of students with ASD to ensure their full-fledged social and speech development.
The article examines the interaction of adolescents with mental disabilities in leisure activities in an inclusive social space, based on the NGO PRIP «Socium». Special attention is paid to the importance of an individual approach, compliance with safety regulations and taking into account the individual characteristics of each participant, various nosologies, as well as approaches to creating a favorable environment conducive to social adaptation and the development of communication skills. The article highlights the need for parents and professionals to actively participate in organizing inclusive activities aimed at unlocking the potential of adolescents with mental disabilities and their successful integration into society.
