The article is devoted to the problem of using video materials in the process of teaching English to 7th grade students. The place of video material in the development of lexical skills in the study of the topic «Transport» is determined. The data on the results of checking the lexical skills of students in this area are given.
The article is devoted to the currently relevant problem of the development of fine motor skills in older preschoolers with an erased form of dysarthria. The features of the formation of the motor sphere (in particular fine motor skills) in this category of children are described based on empirical research. The theoretical justification is presented and the advantages of using plasticinography as a method of improving manual motor skills in children with an erased form of dysarthria are highlighted. The possibilities of introducing plasticinography into the structure of speech therapy classes are analyzed.
The problem of speech development is considered in the theory and practice of teaching the Russian language as one of the most important. This article discusses the development of the speech of younger schoolchildren in literacy lessons. The conditions of speech development are highlighted. The specifics of teaching literacy to first-graders are determined. Some didactic means of speech development and tasks for them are presented.
The article discusses the types of play activities that can be used in the lessons of the Russian language in elementary school in order to create didactic conditions for more effective assimilation by younger schoolchildren of lexical concepts that are mandatory for study in elementary grades. The broad possibilities and prospects of applying the techniques and means of didactic play and language play at various stages of the lesson are analyzed.

Primary school students with severe and multiple developmental disabilities have limited vocabulary, inaccuracy in the use of words, as well as a large gap between active and passive vocabulary. The relevance of the brought up subject emphasizes the need to develop innovative means of correctional and developmental work with children of this category. The purpose of the article is to determine the means of alternative communication for the development of the vocabulary of primary school students with severe and multiple developmental disorders. We discussed and identified more effective means of alternative communication. We also analyzed how to use PECS cards and the Makaton system for the development of the vocabulary of primary school children with severe and multiple developmental disabilities.
