Abiding interest in methods of semantization of lexical units, actively used in the field of studying Russian as a foreign language, and the search for new approaches determined to the extent by the topic – to communicate in Russian, foreign students have to not only be aware of the meaning of Russian words, but also to master them, i.e. be able to adequately use them in producing proper statements. The process of optimizing revealing the meanings of words and establishing them by foreign students can serve as a tem-plate for the integrated use of linguistic means of semantization in lexical work, including the actual interpretation of the results, analysis of the distributional environment of words and its varied connections with other elements of the language system, which can be supplemented by the analysis of the distributive environment of a word and its various connections with other elements of the language system, which can be supplemented by the inclusion in the process of word semantization of information obtained through the analysis of frame semantics. Implementation elements of this approach are demonstrated in the article using the example of the name of the frame “bet”, which represents a certain structure of data about one of the stereotypical situations of the surrounding reality.
The article analyzes the origin of the Ural lexemes naming the places of animal activity. The complex of lexemes with Proto-Slavic origins is revealed, the development of dialect semantics is analyzed. For the Russian lexemes proper, the generating bases are restored, the internal form is reconstructed. The sources of borrowing are determined.
The article discusses the features of the formation of euphemisms based on the materials collected by means of a questionnaire. The relevance of this topic is due to the fact that every day we use euphemisms in our speech, without even suspecting it. At the same time, despite the little-studied concept of «euphemism», this group of words has already come into active use.
The article is devoted to the use of psycholinguistic methods in sociological research based on the proverbs of the Russian, Yakut and Yukagir peoples. Common linguistic approaches are revealed in the generation of proverb samong different peoples, and some features manifested by different psychological, everyday ways of life, geographical and climaticf eatures of the northern peoples.
The article deals with methodological problems of selecting language material, the solution of which should be based on a correctly formulated learning goal. The question of goal setting involves addressing the problem of motivating foreign military personnel who are starting to learn the Russian language.
