The paper presents the results of study of psychological prerequisites of gender-specific differences in preschooler's self-esteem. The authors ground theoretical approaches to the study of self-esteem and gen-der differences in self-esteem of preschoolers. In groups, the patients with different level of self-esteem were diagnosed The direct and inverse relationship of indicators of self-esteem of preschool boys and girls and indicators of sex and age identification were singled out.

The paper deals with results of the research on relationship of anxiety and self-esteem in preschool age. The study was directed on children of preschool age. The authors identify level of self-esteem of each child and compare it with anxiety indices by using correlation analysis with calculation of Spearman's correlation coefficient. Positive correlation between measures of anxiety and self-esteem was revealed.
The article is devoted to the psychological and special education high school students self-esteem in terms of the formation of their identity. The analysis of self-diagnosis of high school students. The study developed "tree of objectives", shows the author's model of psychological and special education high school students self-esteem, as a basis for the development of individual techniques needed to solve problems on the researched topic.
