The article presents a study of the self-esteem of older preschoolers in families with different types of parent-child relationships. In the work, such aspects of the development of a preschooler as self-esteem and socialization, since it is at this age that the active formation of basic self-esteem takes place both in the family and in society. The study empirically substantiates the assumption that a favorable attitude of parents to children, characterized by emotional acceptance and cooperative forms of interaction, contributes to the formation of self-esteem of middle and high levels in older preschool children. Low self-esteem is formed under the influence of negative forms of parent-child relationships (emotional rejection, infantilization of the child, tight control).
The problem of stress resistance of students of final grades puts before the authors of the article the need to search for directed and indirect technologies of work with adolescents, taking into account the peculiarities of their personality. The authors analyzed the causes of stress in adolescents, identified the types and methods of preventive work with graduates to reduce emotional destruction and increase the level of stress resistance.
In this article we examine the importance of personal characteristics and self-esteem of pupils for professional orientation. The importance of these two factors is showcased on the example of correlation between personal characteristics and the level of self-esteem of pupils. For more detailed study of pupil's personality, we have also considered the psychotypes of pupils and their prepareness to professional self-determination. The results of our research are also presented in the article.
The article is devoted to the formation of self-esteem of teenagers in school. The attitude of a teenager to himself is an important education in the system of his perception of the world. Self-esteem is related to one of the Central needs – the need for self-affirmation. The results of studying the level of self-esteem in adolescents are presented. Recommendations for teachers, parents and students are offered.

The relevance of the article is due to the wide spread of cerebral palsy and its disabling effect on the child, as well as the importance of timely formation of adequate self-esteem for full adaptation and life in society. The purpose of the research conducted within the framework of this article is to study the features of adolescents’ self-esteem under the influence of a disabling disease. In this regard, the method "Testing the self-esteem of a high school student" was used, the results of which showed that the average level of self-esteem (adequate) has a smaller part of adolescents with cerebral palsy. The inappropriately low level of self-esteem prevails among them; high levels of self-esteem in adolescents with cerebral palsy were not registered.
