The paper analyzes methodological approaches to research activities of students. The representatives of various scientific professions (teachers, psychologists, philosophers) currently study the topic. Despite the large number of publications on the topic, there is no understanding of the scientific research activities of students. It is treated either as a variety of learning activities, or as a kind of scientific work. The author ana-lyzes three types of scientific approaches: integrated, competency-based and interactive. Integrated and competence-based approaches are widely applied nowadays. However, they focused on getting the final result in accordance with regulatory requirements. In the author's opinion, interactive approach, has signifi-cant research potential in student’s research activities.

The act is considered from the standpoint of mathematical psychology. The author introduces the concept “act weight”; establishes that the character of motivation determines the act weight. The basis for measure-ment of act weight is the energy of motivation. The connection of motivation energy and emotional experiences is found. Unit of measurement of weight act is suggested.

The paper deals with the essence of concept «Pedagogical terms». Considering complex of terms for professional competence of future teacher of food production technologies, we were limited by the terms created in concrete educational organizatio, remembering what other terms influence on this process. Formation of professional competence in the process of professional-practical preparation would provide next pedagogical terms: providing systematic positive motivation to future profession; planning maintenance of professional disciplines; use of innovative technologies in the process of forming professional competence; mastering practical experience of future professional activity. The selection of necessary and sufficient terms is reasonable is the next stage of optimization of future teacher professional preparation for mastering professional competence.

The method of analogy in teaching mathematics sometimes leads to formalism in students' knowledge. To avoid the phenomenon of formalism, it is recommended to match the method of analogy with the synthesis of knowledge. The method of analogy plays a major role in the organization of higher mathematics practical classes, when the teacher makes the students to allow the standard algorithms for common tasks and the set of synthetic nature that can be performed by analogy. Multivariate solution of the same problem allows to match the method of analogy with the pedagogical technology of knowledge synthesis.

Teachers with university education, who work in the public schools, have made a significant contribution to the development of the Oryol region, which had no secondary education before. Among them were founders of libraries, newspaper business, first musical groups, scientists working on the creation of textbooks for Russian schools, writers and philosophers. The paper focuses on the impact of the faculty of gymnasiums on the development of cultural and educational environment of the Oryol province.

The paper describes psychological points of view on economical socialization and the results of pilot study of economical socialization of youth. The authors found the correlation between typical manifestation of economic independence of referent group and such personal features of youth as tendency to reflection and self-criticism, confidence in their positive social reputation.

The paper deals with the modern concept of integrated motivation. The author presents capabilities of KPI (Key Performance Indicator). Particular attention is paid to the potential resources of S. Richie and P. Martin’s concept. Motivational profile allows to define the term staff incentive program. Learning is one of the most important components in the personnel management. This is due to the fact that it knowledge of employees plays a key role in the activities of the entire company, affects its success. Tendencies of self-determination in terms of participation in professional activities are determined.

The paper presents the elements of teaching problems with parameters. The approach to the introduction of the concept «parameter» is discussed. The base of exercises, different types of problems and some heuristics are described.

The distribution of funds to achieve the greatest profit is one of the most important issues of development of production. The paper shows a method for optimal allocation of investment by means of dynamic pro-gramming. The author shows the advantages of dynamic programming compared to the combinatorial method. An example of solving the question of the optimal distribution of investment is described.

The paper deals with the problem of self-organization of bachelor and master students at technical universities. Taking into account the requirements of the two-level education, authors developed a set of tools for independent work of students: a manual on mathematical statistics with controlling materials and workbook with a printed base. Аuthors describe structure and content of methodical manuals choice.

The paper considers the definition of monotonicity of the function using visual, verbal, analytical and geometric methods. The author formulates signs and appropriate ways to study functions on monotonicity using generalizations and first order derivative.

Physical education at higher educational institution is particularly significant part of the educational process, which has a positive impact on overall health of a student. The paper discusses the impact of physical exercises (volleyball) on development of physical qualities. The improvement of ways and methods of volleyball playing and exercises aimed at the development of physical qualities are the topical issue now. Therefore, the purpose of the paper is the review of exercises, execution of which help to prepare for volleyball playing, and thereby affect the physical quality of students.

The paper considers the problem of senior teenagers’ divergent thinking. The paper considers the problem of formation of divergent thinking, agerelated peculiarities of divergent thinking of older adolescents and determines the basic concepts, the results of the study, direction for further work.

The paper considers the peculiarities of the evaluation of investment projects of JSC “Network Company”. The authors reveal the need for strategic investment activities, the basic steps of the investment process. The tables systematize major investment projects implemented in the 2012-2014. The authors speak about the need of expertise of investment projects of JSC "Network Company", defining the main criteria for priority investment projects.

The paper deals with the problem of substitution of terms. The authors analyze the meaning of the words “enterprise”, “organization”, “establishment”, “firm”, “company”; reveal clear boundaries, functions and objectives of the business units of data. Based on an analysis of all the concepts, it became clear what terms are equal and synonymous, and which ones have nothing in common.

The paper focuses on the content and features of innovative strategies on the example of JSC “Russian Railways”. The authors describes applied innovative technologies in rail transport. Particular attention is paid to the problems associated with the implementation of strategy and its effectiveness.

The paper is devoted to a problem of matrimonial satisfaction in families with different experience of marriage. Each of spouses of character of the matrimonial relations considers matrimonial satisfaction as value judgment. The empirical research proved that there are distinctions in hierarchy of factors of satisfaction of spouses in young and mature families: credibility, ease in communication and material security are valuable for young families; while for mature families the most important factors are similarity in views and emotional support.

The paper is devoted to teaching theory of normal systems solutions in the course “Differential Equations” and to the problems that arise in the presentation of the material. In studying the discipline, students face difficulties in finding the general solution of the normal systems of ordinary differential equations (ODE). One of the methods for solving systems is the method of allocation of integrable combinations, that is getting out of the system such equations that can be integrated and thus obtain the first integrals. Their aggregate determines the general decision or the general integral of the system. In this regard, the article describes the normal system of ODE and their symmetrical forms of recording. The basic concepts are interpreted: Cauchy problem, theorem of existence and uniqueness of normal ODE systems solutions, first integrals for systems. It illustrates in detail the method of finding integrable combinations, first integrals and general solutions of various systems on a wide range of tasks. The paper will be useful for students of technical universities and lecturers during seminars on the subject “Differential equations”.

The author analyses the emergence and development of imagology in Russia as a branch of comparative literary studies investigating national images, specific features of reception of the other/alien in the system of culture. Special attention is paid to the research conducted in the Institute of World Literature of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The leader of these studies was Prof. V. B. Zemskov, whose conception of imagology is considered in the paper, including the main goals of this discipline, its inventory, the notions of stereotype, image, and also the mechanisms and historical aspects of imagological reception and representation.

The paper explains the heuristic approach to the dialectical interaction of the individual sciences and philosophy as the science of the universal (the issue of which is extremely important in the context of the ongoing reduction in the last teaching, evaluated as "non-core discipline"). As an example of such a heuricity, the author considers ideas of quantum theory creators, who contributed to the fact that in the framework of non-classical science objectivity of knowledge began to be understood in the aspect of "the adequacy of the theoretical description of reality" (which allows alternative, but equally appropriate options of such descriptions). The most striking example of the consequent impossibility of eliminating the "observer" of the scientific picture of the world is "uncertainty principle" as a special case of "principle of complementarity".
