The market of educational services in the sphere of additional professional education is actively saturated in the context of solving the problems of developing new programs, approaches, models and forms for the organization of the advanced training process that ensures meeting of teachers' needs and the initiation of various types of their activity in solving educational problems, implementing methodological techniques, joining the research and innovation work. However, the demand and preferences of the proposed training forms for teachers due to the development tendencies of this market remain unexplored, which causes the urgency of the research and its purposes: 1) to determine the forms of advanced professional training and qualification improvement preferred by teachers «as it is»; 2) to reveal the dynamics of the preferred advanced training forms for teachers. During the research, methods of sociological survey (questionnaire), analysis of empirical data and documents were used. The authors considered the changes in the forms of advanced professional training programs implementation in the history of the Krasnoyarsk Regional Institute of Teachers’ Advanced Professional Training. The study of additional professional education forms preferred by teachers of the Krasnoyarsk region («as it is») is presented. The research results reflect the empirical data analysis of teachers’ questionnaires who live in different territories of the Krasnoyarsk region, and have different pedagogical experience. The authors determined the preferences of groups of teachers differing in the subjects taught, the territory of residence (village / city), work experience: teachers teaching the humanities, prefer to improve their qualification using distance technologies more often than teachers of the natural-science cycle disciplines, as well as teachers of urban schools in comparison with teachers living in rural areas; teachers, who work less than 16 years, also prefer the same format as compared with more experienced teachers. Based on the results of the documents analysis, the researchers show the dynamics of selection and participation of teachers in the implementation of extra-mural programs for advanced training using distance technologies, previously claimed as preferred forms for additional professional education. They note an increase in the number of teachers who improve their qualifications using distance technologies over the past three years. However, the level of teachers’ participation (both students in the institute of advanced training, and tutors) in such programs, despite the gradual growth, is not high enough yet. The results described in the article are addressed to researchers of additional professional education for pedagogical staff who are interested in developing scientifically based strategies for improving teachers' qualifications and in rapid response of regional systems to the current changes in education. The materials presented in the article provide an opportunity to compare in historical dynamics the involvement of teachers in various regions of Russia in various forms of qualification improvement process, including distance technologies; allow to predict optimistically an increase in the level of teachers' participation in the professional development programs using distance educational technologies.

The relevance of the study of research skills formation among military cadets is explained by the increase in the requirements for the level of their military professional training, which is characterized not only by deep theoretical knowledge, but also by the ability to use this knowledge for solving military problems by means of research. A cadet must develop research qualities and skills, be able to generate new ideas, apply the methodology of scientific research and organization of experimental work, methods and means of theoretical and empirical research at the stage of University training already. The results of our ascertaining experiment showed a rather low level of cadets ' general learning and research skills. In addition, about half of the surveyed cadets are not interested in research activities and are not going to be engaged in this type of activity either during the years of study in a military University or after graduation. The article analyzes the role and importance of research skills for military-professional activities of future officers; discusses different approaches to the definition of concepts "skill", "general learning skills", "research skills", and provides different approaches to their classification. The article clarifies the definition of "research skills" concept in relation to the specifics of military training; identifies groups of skills (information and communication, theoretical-methodological and theoretical-empirical skills), formed in the process of training and research activities of cadets; considers the method of gradual formation of learning and research skills in the classroom and during extracurricular activities. Practice has shown that the gradual organization of cadets’ research activities in the military University contributes to the formation and development of learning and research skills, creativity, initiatives of future officers, the development of their cognitive interest and positive motivation. The formation and development of research skills is going on effectively, if you provide certain pedagogical conditions: development of cadets ' positive motivation, cognitive and professional interest in research; creation of an educational research environment in the University; launching research projects together with the teachers of the University; consideration of the specific features of military specialists professional training; orientation of research projects on the problems of cadets’ military professional activity; the high level of their learning and intellectual skills.

The goal of this article is to describe the novelties at the professionally-oriented stage of foreign language teaching (the English language) for forming students’ readiness to apply knowledge in different real situations, in different professional situations. While carrying out the research competence, communicative, linguosociocultural approaches were used. Logic of competence approach was used which supposes content formation from results of education, higher-priority results are those educational results connected with mastering by students activity and perception tools. As the results of the study undertaken we developed the teaching-method handbooks representing a universal module containing terminology base of a foreign language (the English language) for the area of innovation activity. This terminology base is an addition to professional terminology. The authors’ developments are implemented into work programs in different areas of training at Moscow Polytechnic University. The article may be interesting for teachers of subjects (the English language) who teach professionally-oriented foreign language at higher educational institutions and for students and postgraduate students of different areas of training.

The urgency of the problem is conditioned by the existing need to expand the content of pre-school education, the development of methodological support for the organization of preschoolers’ constructing process with the use of the new generation of building kits. A number of contradictions have developed in modern science and educational practice: between recognition by psychological and pedagogical science the fact that children of preschool age can master skills for constructive activities with elements of robotics and the absence of a scientifically based methodology for realizing this process in the system of preschool education; between the significant potential of a new generation of building kits for realization of the process of constructive skills forming in children of senior preschool age and insufficiently developed methodological support of this process in practice of modern pre-school education. At the same time, the Federal Educational Standard of preschool education defines constructing from various materials as one of the most important types of children's activities. The article presents the methodological foundations for the organization of constructing and robotics at a pre-school educational organization. Methodological foundations constitute a set of methodological approaches: system-activity, integrative and situational ones. The system-activity approach determines the structure of the process of formation of constructing skills in preschool children and ensures the sequence of mastering them. The integrative approach allows to choose the effective means, forms and methods of educational activity, grouped by thematic principle; integrate different types of children's activities. The situational approach promotes consideration of preschool children’s constructing skills formation process in the logic of problem training technology, modelling and solving problem situations. The article is practice-oriented. It presents educational activities in constructing with elements of robotics, organized by students of the Surgut State Pedagogical University during their pedagogical practice. The method of teaching construction with the use of new generation of LEGO, Polydron, Engino Education and Engino Discovering Stem building kits in the classroom and in free children activities is substantiated. The materials of the article may be used by teachers of preschool educational organizations both in classrooms and in regime moments; by bachelors and masters of pedagogy while studying methods of teaching preschoolers constructing and robotics; by academic staff of pedagogical universities for presentation this method to students; by teachers of additional professional education organizations in the framework of the preparation for advanced training courses in the presented field of educational activity.
